This is the original reel about the famous Hindenburg disaster in 1937, Lakehurst.
The World's largest airship took off from Frankfurt and caught fire as it was mooring upon arrival at Lakehurst Naval Air Station, New Jersey. 36 people were killed and the airship burnt out in less than one minute.
